Är du kördirigent? Inspirerande workshops med Tori Longdon och Jamie Wright 29-30.9. Sjung med i kör-workshoparna 1.10! Platsen är SFV-huset G18 (på fredag) och Gyllenbergsalen i Sandels (på lördag och söndag) i Helsingfors.
Nu har du som dirigent en sällsynt chans att sätta dig ner och sjunga i en workshop under ledning av två superinspirerande och kunniga dirigenter. Här följer dirigenternas egna presentationer på engelska:

Using gesture is a vital part of working with a musical ensemble, but it can be daunting. In this session conductor Tori Longdon breaks down conducting into its building blocks to look at what is really useful, what we’re really communicating to our singers, and how we can all improve our gesture with a little practice.
14:30 - 15:30 - Conductor Inspiration Session #004: Successful Management In A Choral Setting
Conductors are required to have many skills outside of their musical work in order to run a successful organisation. In this session we discuss two different sides of choral leadership; how to run an efficient rehearsal and build a community of committed singers, and how organise concerts which really speak to and engage audiences who will support your work.

16:00 - 17:15 - Conductor Inspiration Session: Engage! Approaching New And Familiar Repertoire With Confidence
We all want to get beyond the note-learning and engage with the ‘feel’ ofthe music as quickly as possible. In this session, Tori Longdon and Jamie Wright explore different ways you can do this - whether a piece is brand new to you, or whether you’ve sung it a million times before, there’s always more to discover!
